The Week That Was: Sunshine, coffee and vintage rabbits

After an extremely rare week of warm weather, I have decided to share with you what I got up to, in a new blog post series called ‘The Week That Was’. I am considering doing this type of post more often in the future, so let me know if you like it!

Although I hate exposing my legs to the elements, I knew that I had to make the most of the opportunity to tan my extremely pale skin, so I braved showing the purplish bruises on my shins and opted to wear the ensemble shown above pretty much every day. I wore a blue vest top from Ted Baker and some white dungarees from Jack Wills as I loved the contrast between the strong blue and the stark white.

During the week I visited a beautiful patisserie in Clifton Village by the name of Anna. Unfortunately I had very little time and therefore I could only get a drink, however I will definitely visit it again for the full experience, I may even blog about it!

As you can see the interior was beautiful, with copper and rose gold accents and numerous plants which made the entire decor seem very considered. I also love that from where the seating was you could look right into the kitchen, I always find this very reassuring in an eatery, as it shows the confidence of the staff that they are happy for the customers to see them at work.

Whilst in Clifton we stopped by the arcade, where many of the shops were closing up for the afternoon. Whilst wondering through I noticed a few vintage stuffed animals outside of a small independent shop. They were absolutely beautiful however I couldn’t justify buying an expensive stuffed animal for myself; a nineteen year old student. However I had to stop to admire the craftsmanship of the handmade creatures, all adorned with embroidery and embellishments and dressed in loose knits and vintage fabrics which wouldn’t look out of place in a vintage haute couture shop.

Whilst walking down one of the quieter streets in Clifton, we came across this beautiful blue vintage car, making it seem like the streets of Italy. If I could afford it this would definitely be my choice over a sports car any day!
