‘The Beauty of Mending’ is a premium book featuring fine art photography, visuals, and written content centred on the unexpected beauty of “worn” clothes and the lost art of mending. Inspired by the Japanese concept of ‘Wabi-sabi’, which is defined as the aesthetic of imperfection. The book is an A4-scale book with a hard-bound linen cover, enclosing 100 pages of 135gsm paper, featuring primarily visual and some written content surrounding the theme of mending. Featuring interviews and content from Golden Joinery, Zenzie Tinker, and Rebecca Barton from Pajotten.
